The Geo-referenced Real-time Acquisition of Statistics Platform (GRASP) is an application that allows questionnaire design, data collection, transmission and analysis in real-time through the use of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. It consists of the following applications:

Joint Assessment Mission (JAM) Training Videos

The Global Learning Centre, UNHCR and WFP have collaborated to develop a series of JAM training videos. The short, 5-minute videos are intended to improve understanding of the UNHCR/WFP JAMs, emphasizing the process and design of a JAM with a focus on food security and nutrition. They reflect the JAM Operational Guidance, and are intended to further facilitate country-led JAM processes.

Introducing the CARI (Consolidated Approach for Reporting Indicators of Food Security)

The Consolidated Approach for Reporting Indicators of Food Security (or CARI)  is a WFP method used to analyse and report the level of food insecurity within a population.

Here it is!  We've uploaded the official WFP guidelines for conducting baseline assessments (also known as CFSVAs).   

The CFSVA is a unique tool designed to understand and describe the profiles of food-insecure and vulnerable households, identify the root causes of hunger, and analyze the risks and emerging vulnerabilities among populations in crisis-prone countries.
